Arriving in Bangkok from India presents a real contrast from the moment you step off the plane into the World's newest and largest airport. We spent our time exploring the temples, palace and snake farm and finished off by having a great Thai massage at Wat Pho.
Much to our surprise the Thai Boxing match we attended was fascinating both from watching the fighting display in the ring to the frenetic gambling ongoing in the stands. The atmosphere was electric and all the more poignant as Chas had been allowed into the ring earlier (females not allowed!): luckily he was not spotted by any of the talent scouts!
