Kakadu was our final destination in Austraila and what a way to finish it. For this part of the trip we took an organised tour which turned out to be excellent particullary because our guide was so good and so knowledgeable. There were 8 of us on the tour, plus the guide (Ben).

All three days were jam packed with things to do and considering we were starting at 7 each day this was not bad. We did lots of driving, walking, swimming, and eating. Other activities included wildlife spotting including seeing a fan necked lizard, and didergeroo playing.

Saw most of the park over the three days and slept outside without tents just under the stars in our sleeping bags. (well sleeping bag as we only had one between the two of us and it was mighty freezing). Returned from the trip filthy (again) knackered and ready for a big feed. Last night in Australia so quick dash down to the casino to use up our left over $10 chip from the other night (one game did not take long). Another look at the market and then to meet the others from our trip in the Vic bar for some drinks. Got the bus to the airport at 11pm. Phew.
