Getting ready....

Well, it's all new to me.... but I thought this might be a good way of recording what we are up to for posterity! Also, anyone who might have a vague interest can see what delightful (!) things we are up to.
This travel blog is intended to let ou know where we are, what we are doing and if we are having fun....!
No packing has yet been done - except in my head. I am mentally thinking through all the things I should remember.... I guess written lists would be good here, but I don't seem to remember important stuff except when I am driving or in the middle of something else.
G P & J have three days left at school and I have three days of frantic packing it all in! OK - I guess I shouldn't really go to lunch with the "Latte club girls" or have my nails done, but there are some essentials in life and these two things are part of them!!!
I've been researching on the net the essential things I should be doing whilst away - perhaps leaving it a bit late to be doing so, but that's me!! (Leave everything to the last minute! - at least it'll all be fresh in my mind....)
Anyway, one of the current dilemas is whether to take the camcorder, pocket digital or buy a new digital SLR for the amazing photos I am hoping to take of Ayers Rock Sunrise.... Hmmm.
