A day of travel as we say goodbye to the Mid-West and fly out of Denver and arrive back in Boston.

It's the Labor Day weekend holiday and the flight s full, the airport busy and the car hire companies are out of cars. After landing at 6pm we are not on the road south till 7:20,

I drive the 40+ miles to Plymouth part of the Cape Cod area. This is where the Pilgrim Fathers landed in 1620. 102 settlers established the first permanent English settlement.

We check in and quickly drive down to the harbour area. It is very busy with people in holiday mode. Parking is difficult but we a looking for a particular fish Restaurant Lynne has read about on Trip Adviser. We find Woods and and seeing some fantastic food come out of the kitchen, we order a fish platter and fresh haddock for the girls- delicious.

We are all tired and go to bed early
