WOW, amazingly we have made it to continent number 7 (seven) and everyone thinks we're not playing with the full set.
Having covered a fair part of the atlas it seemed only fitting that we arrive at our final destination by flying in over the High Atlas mountains, and what a view it is, we certainly got our just 'desserts' This place is totally crazy and it seems like anything and I mean anything goes. The main square, the Djeema, is full of nutters of every description..........glass eaters, snake charmers, story tellers, acrobats, donkey carts and an eejit singing You'll never walk alone......everything is very Bazaar We stayed in the old walled city, unchanged it seems in centuries and a total rabbit warren maze like labyrinth.......funny we ended up staying in the Maze out in the Marra-Kesh, we felt like Morrocco mole ha ha ha
We had a real ball here.............we rocked the Kasbah, enjoyed the Funky cool Medina and enjoyed the Souqs in the City. The Sultans we met were full of swing and the Sultanas were, well, very tasty. Our last day is also our wedding anniversary, number 8. It's great that during our 7th year our only "itch" was our itchy feet :-) As another oul crooner once said............."and now the end is near" .......we have to make our way to the Marrakesh express and it's homeward bound. Next stop: That's Belfast, you call to me...... See youse all soon, Mr and Mrs Dun-Wanderin More thumbnails ...
