Just a brief one night stopover before we sail on the good ship Akademik Ioffe. Cue sleepless night spent pacing the floor and ironing my thermals!!!

Well I always said I would go to the ends of the earth for Julie.................now we're doing it:-) This is the southernmost city in THE WORLD...........and it feels like it, ccccold!

Our initial thoughts are that this place is totally unique although, as with the rest of Argentina the locals are easy going and always helpful.

We'll get more chance to have a look around when we get back from ANTARCTICA.

Next stop: West Point Island, the Falklands
