This is our second call in Salta, which we thought was cracker the first time........... well it is fandabbydozy second time around!

Last time, way back in August it was brass monkeys, now it is betty swolls:-)

We are taking it easy this time, just strolling around instead of hiking. The main plaza is always a hive of activity, full of posers.........and us. We fit in well as the colour of the region is RED

We went to a traditional peņa last night, chock-a-block, good grub, vino and buck eejit Argies singing folklore music. The hostel is, well, rustic I think they call it! The shower is located kind of outside but under the stairwell, not one for the shy and retiring.

We are on the move again soon, south to San Miguel de Tucuman. This will take us onto the bottom half of our "figure of 8" (strictly come backpacking!), which leads us the Buenos Hairys.....Vamos
