Salta is a city and also the name of a region, a bit like Antrim is back home...................without the joyriders.

Salta is a beautiful place, lots of lovely architecture, friendly people and always something happening. We booked into a hostal called.............Munay, pronounced Mooney......................I told ya we're everywhere!

We ran into a few of the people we met along the way so far and spent time knocking about with 2 Ozzies from Perth, fair dinkum.

The area of Salta is surrounded by awesome stratified roak formations, grand canyon on a smaller scale.

Most of the geological systems are like us.................RED to the core (boom boom)

We decided to stay on an extra few days here because we love it so much and have been able to take day trips to different parts of the North West corner.

Time to saddle up again, next stop: La Quiaca...........the border
