I thought the Caribbean Sea was supposed to be like a mill pond. Well, for the first time since we left Mexico we have seen white horses and it has been a rock and roll day at sea. It was amazingly windy out on deck so we grabbed some sun beds in the solarium and camped there all day.

The clocks went forward again last night so for a day at least, I think we are only 4 hours behind the UK.

We haven't been to see the shows over the last few days preferring to watch the films on deck or down in the theatre if, as last night, it is too windy under the stars. We saw a brilliant film called The Butler last night. It was based on a true story about a black butler in the White House, during the period of the civil rights movement in the 60's and 70's. If you get chance to see it, you must. A big percentage of the Americans on the ship will have had first hand experience of the troubles that took place at the time. It will make for an interesting discussion at dinner tonight.

Friday is Martini day so we don't need to worry that the Tonic Water supplies ran out last night. Hopefully we will find some in Aruba tomorrow.

We've been to Aruba before, on our very first cruise nearly 10 years ago , but neither of us can remember anything about it. Maybe we will have a feeling of Déjà vu when we arrive tomorrow.

After Minnie's impressive use of linguistic skills yesterday, can you ask her if she knows the French for "deja vu"?
