How Big is Small????? HUGE!!! And it certainly is. This is what I had to ask Julie when we were ordering ice cream out in Plano texas at The Legacy Town center. FOOD HERE IS HUGE!! Cars are big, roads are massive, people are... well massive and its as if somehow, someway America took a view of the WHOLE world and just thought. "Its bigish, I guess! Supersize me. Unnecissarily it doesn't matter, LETS BE GIANTS!" And they have...

Yes that's right, I'm here in Plano Texas at home with the Glasby's (I have a cousin out here who works for EDS plc with a stageringly HUGE house in Plano texas and its FANTAAAASTICO)! However on first impressions everything is ridiculously massive!

CARS are unneccissarily huge (the sort of thing that can uproot trees), at a modest 3 litre starting size which is standard. Roads are wide and long and because everywhere is far from everywhere else, kids drive 4 litre sports cars round town, schools are host to around 12 sports academys and never have time to stop. Shops, sports clubs, shopping malls, leisure parks and restaurants are all relatively new, and no more than 20 years old?!!

Lauren (aged 10) goes to Brinker elementary school and currently is handy at 7 different sports. Horseriding, Skiing, Volleyball, Ballet, Tennis Swimming and Iceskating (and wrestling apparently says Anthony - though not very good)! HAHA. But yes, this is actually normal out here?! CRAZY!! Kids are very privaliged over here and I think its great. BUT, its hardly any surprise in Colin County which was rated the richest county in Texas and is part of the 1% richest cities in the United States (with a population just over 250,000 people)! That's TWICE as many residents since 1990 when large corporations were moving into the area.

So yes out here in Plano, it looks like a surreal dream when families are living the life of Riley and to be honest, so would anyone out here. There's just LOADS to do. So I'm out to explore the town today, and chill out.
