Well the first leg of my Travelling Fellowship is nearly here.

I have my contacts arranged and I know when I am travelling and where to.

To be honest, I have not experienced any real problems with finding contacts in the USA and sorting out my itinerary.

Everyone that I have had contact with has been so friendly and obliging that I feel very welcome as a traveller.

My nerves are starting to get the better of me though. I have never undertaken anything like this before as a lone traveller and the thought of being all on my own overseas without family or work colleagues is a little daunting.

However, I must remember the British 'spirit' that Churchill often remarked on. That the British have courage and the ability to get the job done no matter what. So I must a deep breath and launch myself into this adventure.
