Were back at UB guesthouse after what was for Helen, an uncomfortable ride back. But after a look over from Dr Nam, she's been passed fit but likely to be a bit drowsy.
After she had a lie down and relax we took a walk to the Mongolian State Centre to watch the 'Tu Man Ech' ensamble, a group of traditional singers and dancers. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but having enjoyed the singing of our guides during the Horse Trecking, we were open minded. It's a good thing to, because it was great. I really enjoyed it. We didn't get some of the meanings and dialogue, but the sound and movement washed over us and calmed us right down. The contortionists though, were a different matter all together. There were about 5 girls of no more than 10/11 years old, bending themselves backwards. The main girl was able to bend right over so here backside was on the back of her head whilst she supported the entire weight of her body with her teeth. It sounds impossible i know, but i saw it. I now have a bad back purely from the sympathy pains!
Nam met us afterwards and we took him for some English food after his Korean session with us the other night. We now have a Cornish Pasty addict on our hands. Of all the food in England, he's a pasty monster!
Also noticed an old Mini that had taken part in the Mongolian rallye... I could see an MGB doing a bit of that in a few years time :)
