I think i must have eaten something a little off at the Korean place last night, because it sure wasn't the Alcohol that kept me running to the bathroom in the early hours. Besides, i would have felt hungover and i wasn't.
Last night ws great fun, we ended up at the Seoul Club, a really nice Korean restaurant where Nom revelled in giving us the full menu tour in true authentic style. I think my Korean language skills out moved the mongolian i had learned previously!
After the meal we headed to Dave's place, an English pub to watch the football. Apparently, Helen was the first Geordie female to visit the bar and so received a free bottle of Newcy Brown as reward from Dave himself!
We also managed to half persuade the american posse to visit England when we get back so we can show them what it's really like. in a slightly slurred passage of words they agreed.
We got in about 12.30 and hit the hay almost immediatley, and as was previously documented spent most of the night at the toilet. So needless to say wasn't at my best ahead of the ride to the National Park.
As i returned from the shower the new trainload from Irkutsk arrived, amonst them, Chris and Sebastian from Olkhon Island.
In the van, Hel, me, John, Tatyana and Mark headed North the Terej natioal park. It was amazing. The scenery and scale just breath taking. Alas, it was raining. No horseriding in the rain we were told. 4 hours later it stopped, and i got onto a horse for the first time since i was 15. Although this horse did resemble more of a donkey and was thusly named 'ey-ore' and my name becam 'plodalong cassidy' for obvious reasons. It wasn't the most flighty of beasts. The same could not be said of Helen's steed, which constantly whisked her off, usually without any such request from her
I was absolutely cream crackered by it all though, having not eaten all day, so went to lie down whilst hel fullfilled a lifetimes ambition of riding a camel. The camel it appears wasn't as keen as she, and had her on the floor after 3 minutes. Luckily she was ok, with just bruises and a little shock, but she has a bit of a limp. Certainly more concerned about how the bruises will look when we get to Thailand and she's wearing her bikini!

Helen and Maverick
. Not much drama unfolded until the rain started again, and the animals became frisky. I ws almost unseated by 'ey-ore' and john actually had to jump off his as it bolted. It was fun, and 3 hours later we returned unscathed.I was absolutely cream crackered by it all though, having not eaten all day, so went to lie down whilst hel fullfilled a lifetimes ambition of riding a camel.
