In Captain Suser we were woken up up in the middle of the night to see some baby turtles hatching to go to the sea. It was hard for the baby turtles to reach the sea because there were predators waiting for them and it was a long way to the water. When they tried to get in to the sea, the waves would push them back up the beach so they had to start again. [Watch the video below - they are so cute!]
In the morning we went snorkelling. on the way to the snorkeling place we saw some sea turtles. two were kissing and making baby turtles. [So we have now seen the full reproductive cycle of turltles! ]
Then we got off the boat into the sea. the snorkeling was so much fun - we saw and touched an octopus, a puffer fish and lots of other colourful fish. when we got back the monkeys Linda and Lola were by our room again and this time they tried to climb all over us. Our friendly cat Missy stayed by our room too and we saw her fight off the racoons when they came too close.

We went kayaking to an island just opposite the hotel. The island was filled with the most shells you have ever seen [half of which seem to now be in our suitcase!] and we paddled back in another lovely sunset.
