We arrived at our hotel after a four hour drive in Clive, and checked in. Current audio book is now PercyJackson and the Lightening Thief (not a patch on Harry Potter but keeps the kids quiet all the same). We woke up the next day and realized that we had checked in to a zoo! With monkeys outside our house - one monkey came in our house. There was also a tiny baby porkipine that the staff fed every day, racoons, a family of five, which got quite annoying at tea time, and Iguanas everywhere.

On the 3rd day we went body boarding and it was so much fun! The beach was right outside the hotel which had pacific water with good waves for surfing and pretty warm water, even when it started pouring with rain!!!

The next day we did surf school this was really fun. After a couple of attempts we did stand up and surf all the way to the beach. Even Mum and Dad managed to stand up more than once. Still we did all fall in the sea a lot – but the water was warm! Surf's up dude!

[Time for some serious beach and cocktail action at last for the next week - THE PARENTS]

Hi there, just got back from holiday and logged on to catch up with your adventure. I'm with Sophie - a very deep shade of green! What an amazing adventure. I was really impressed by Oliver's canyoning and all of you surfing - next time you do a big road trip please can I come too?!

Really looking forward to seeing you when you get back. And you'll love being back too - the weather here has been amazing. Loads of sun. Everybody is BBQing- shorts and t-shirts are essential and they have introduced a 'free time' at both Sheen Primary and PA where you can just spend a few hours doing whatever takes your fancy!

Really looking forward to catching up in person but thank you for keeping us posted on your adventure. Enjoy your last few days and give us a call when you're back so we can get together. xxxx

Well , well, well it all looks a bit dull, can't you make it sound a bit more exciting and do more stuff?

Sorry about the lack of respoinses lately, but funnily enough worky stuff and latte's keep getting in the way.

Cooling down nicely for your return, although top weather today. the hot news is that we decided to have the tennis tournament early and the even better news is that Andrew and Annette won - name already on the trophy for your return.
