We drove through LA and saw the Hollywood sign it was amazing. ( We also drove through Beverley Hills, big houses and the neatest greenest manicured lawns ever seen. Plus not allowed to 'stop and shop' at Rodeo Drive! Nikki) When we reached the hotel we had to go to sleep straight away because it was late and in the morning we had to get up early for Disney. In the morning we did get up early about 7:30am.There was a breakfast place across the road so we went we had to eat quickly because Disney opened at 8:00 and we didn't want to queue for every ride.

The first ride we went on was called Splash Mountain which was a water ride it was a like Pirate Falls in Legoland we gave this 10/10!!!.We went on lots on lots of rides such as Space Mountain, this was extremely fun as well as Splash Mountain ,it was a huge roller coaster but in complete pitch black, we went on this 3 times and gave it 10/10 as well!!!

Other rides we went on were:

Pirates of the Caribbean 7/10

Indiania Jones 8/10

Haunted Mansion 3/10

Star Tours – ( mum and dad's favourite – 10/10)

Toy Story game show  8/10

Woody’s rollercoaster  8/10

Monster’s Ink rescue Boo  3/10

Swings 4/10

Zephyr Rockets  2/10

Thunder Mountain Rollercoaster 10/10

There was a huge parade with lots of Disney characters that sang and danced as they came down the street. There were other performers dancing, walking on stilts and juggling. We saw Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Tinkerbell, Peter Pan and Captain Hook and lots of others.

In the evening we saw a fantastic show, which was set on a stage in the middle of a lake. There was an evil witch, dragons on the lake and loads of dancing. Plus a 20 minute firework show. It was brilliant.

The next day we went to California Land, which is the other half of Disney. There were loads more rides here – one called Californian ‘Screamin’ 10/10 (Oliver's favourite) which is a huge rollercoaster that went so fast and upside down. We went on 3 times in a row!

Another great ride was Soaring Over California 10/10 (Millie's favourite) – which was a 3D ride in a cinema and you felt like you were flying over all the best sites in California. ‘It’s hard to be a bug’ was another 3D show where we got wet and scared by bugs creeping on our seats! Mummy jumped out of her seat at the end and nearly wet her pants.

At this place we met Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Woody and the Incredibles. My favourite out of all the Disney characters of course was Minnie. Oliver’s was Mickey, Mummy’s was Goofy and Daddy liked Tinkerbell.

Oliver also learnt to be a Jedi at the Jedi Academy and fought with Darth Maul – he won!

We saw the fireworks again that night – we were exhausted by 2 days in Disney – but loved it!

It was a great place to end our trip in America as we were flying to Costa Rica the next day.

Our final count on seeing US licence plates was 42 of the 50 states, including Hawaii and Alaska and a special Disney one, all of which we saw in California. We think we drew with the Morris’ who also saw 42 but probably cheated knowing Simon and how desperate he is to win any trophy.
