Today, we went whitewater rafting down the Matanuska River with Nova River Runners.  It was a fair amount of Class III-V rapids that was glacier fed.  There were some girl scouts in our group too, (so you can tell that these weren¡¯t TOO rough) and one of their girls got some pics of us.  Now THIS was some cold water.  The temperature of the water was right at 33¢ªF.  We had to wear full dry suits, which was fun trying to fit into.  The trip was about 2 ¨ö hours long, but was great¡¦there was also some calm water at the end to go swimming in.  After fishing for 6 days straight, then paddling and whitewater rafting for a couple of hours, we were really beat.  We managed to go walk around downtown Anchorage for a couple of hours afterwords, got some souvenir shopping done, but we turned in early that night¡¦
