We took a little Piper Cub from the Quinhagak airport to the Bethel airport to catch a flight to Anchorage.  We were booked on an 8pm flight, but got to the airport with enough time to catch the 2:30pm flight.  I had to do some sweet-talking with the check-in agent, but she finally put dad and me on standby for the flight. (They don't like to switch your tickets when you book award travel).  Dad and I were the last 2 standbys to get accepted on the earlier flight so we made it back to Anchorage a lot quicker than we planned for and got some much needed showers and sleep. 
 
Even though we had it available, we didn't use the hot water shower much when camping.  It would have detracted from the experience.  Dad used it twice, I used it once and I bathed in the river once.
