I've noticed that for at least the last 8 years, I haven't had my birthday off. I've either had classes, work, or classes and work. One of these years, I'd like to be on vacation when my birthday comes around. Maybe next year I can swing it so that I'm on top of a mountain skiing for my birthday....

2009 - Tres Lagoas, Matto Grosso do Sul, Brazil, Working at VCP Horizonte Pulp Mill
2008 - Porto Seguro, Bahia, Brazil, Working at Veracel Paper Mill
2007 - Glens Falls, NY, USA, Working in Andritz's office
2006 - Rochester, NY, USA, Working at Buffalo Wild Wings(BWW) and Classes at RIT
2005 - Tuscaloosa, AL, USA, Working at McAbee Construction
2004 - Rochester, NY, USA, Worked at BWW, and made it to work at BWW the next day (day after 21st birthday!)
2003 - Rochester, NY, USA, Classes at RIT
2002 - Rochester, NY, USA, Classes at RIT
2001 - Huntsville, AL, USA, Classes at Grissom, but I don't think I worked that day...

Now, since it's not normal to me, I wonder if anyone takes off for their birthday. I know my secretary back in Glens Falls does. What about those of you who are reading this? Do you take the day off on your birthday?
