So we started our journey today by traveling to the nation's capital city... or sort of.
I landed in Ronald Reagan airport, while it was close to the sites, it's very far from my hotel. I found that instead I needed to travel from RR to Duless Airport, catch another shuttle to my Hotel which is located in Leesburg, VA. Leesburg by the way is for all intensive purposes a suburb and is at least an hour journey from downtown DC where the meeting offices are...

So as all may expect, our government project has started with poor planning and scheduling... lol!

It's a nice hotel, kind of quaint and very quiet... both things I can enjoy... especially the quiet part. We've got a very large group assembling here and they have an entire conference room dedicated to our whole team.

I'm leaving in about an hour to go and meet everyone. Should be interesting. My first attempt to NOT insult everyone from a foreign country... wish me luck! And for those of you who pray... well get out your GOOD bibles :). Laugh!

Patrick and I took a walk tonight after dinner and I got some nice shots of the grounds around the hotel and the sunset and moon. Amazing night! Especially considering it's mid November!

Well our evening went well, our new friends from overseas are very friendly and we spent a very social evening at Ruby Tuesdays near the hotel.  There was at least 20 of us, so I'm sure the waiter/waitresses were freaking out slightly... manager did a marvelous job handling our group.
