About 2 days covering roughly the same region again in the NW highlands.  Nice drive north initially up to Unapool to view more stunning geology formations but the weather looked clear and sunny further north so I decided to follow where to where the sun shone....further north to Scourie, a nice little village with lots of beach resorts, and like all the houses around here are all painted white.  Had a nice look around encouraged by the sunshine.  Then circled back down to get onto the B869.

Great drive along the B869 road whých starts just right before Unapool if you are headiýng north.  Further on, turned off to follow the sign which leads to the Stoer lighthouse.  I decided to do this walk the day before I left Scotland.  Parked and followed the single sign post to go see the Old Man of Stoer, which is actually a pinnacle just off shore.  There are supposed to be birds there and sometimes climbers.  Saw neither this time.  The waves were up so no chance of looking for whales or basking sharks either.  It was still a great walk along the cliffs and has a fantastic view of the highlands again with clouds appearing and disappearing over the skies.  You can see all the 5 summits that define this area and Handa Island to the north as you wander along trying to avoid the bogs!

Thanks Robin and Penny for this suggestion!
