Arriving in Nha Trang early in the morning, we got into a small cab and Hemal directed the driver to take us to a Hotel called 'Thanh Binh 3' which had been recommended by Kim back in Laos. I personally couldn't remember which city Kim had mentioned when recommending this place but Hem was adamant it was Nha Trang. After a bit of driving around, the driver bought us back to the the drop off point and asked the coach company where it was. The staff had never heard off the place and ensured Hemal it wasn't here. Eventually we got the driver to drop us off at another hotel mentioned in the Rough Guide. He was pissed off as Hemal was refusing to pay the full fare but Hem eventually gave in and reluctantly gave him the money.
The hotel was pretty decent with a large room and A/C. We chilled out and then freshened up Headed out to the beach (2mins away) and took a walk down. You would not really believe you were in Vietnam as the beach was gorgeous and reminded Hem of Miami. We ended up in the most expensive looking beach front bar/restaurant which was also a brewery making their own beers and ales (called Louisiane Brewhouse). We grabbed some food (fairly average) and proceeded to play a few games of pool while drinking some lovely Ginger Ale and Witbier. Headed to the sun loungers and chilled out for a couple of hours with frequent dips in the sea to cool off.
Headed back to our hotel, freshened up and headed out for some food in a fairly posh looking place. After dinner we had a couple of drinks in the Sailing club with a few games of pool and then ended up in 'Why Not' bar for a few more drinks. Got chatting to a couple of Irish girls followed by a crazy Australian and Brit group. Left around 1am and headed off to sleep.

Day 2 in Nha Trang, we had booked ourselves onto a one day boat trip so we woke up early, had some breakfast and jumped onto the coach to the pier.
Our boat was pretty basic. Got talking to a couple of Aussie girls before our first stop which was snorkeling near an island. I managed to cut up my foot and leg on the side of the boat but hadn't realised until i got back on the boat. Plastered up, this would put me out of the next swimming event... :(
A very decent communal lunch was served with enough for me to eat. I was taught by an extremely kind old Vietnamese man on the the correct way to hold the bowl and use the chopsticks and he constantly passed over all the dishes to our area when he realised i was vegetarian.
After lunch we were treated to the boats very own 'boy band', consisting off some of the crew, a couple of electric guitars, an improvised drum kit and some hilarious 'eye-candy' playing the tambourine. After a selection of popular Vietnamese and English tracks, the guide passed the Mic to one of the guys we had chatted to earlier called Henry. He managed to pull off a very decent rendition of a song i cannot remember the name off while also playing the guitar. He was promptly rewarded with a bottle of very strong mulled wine.
We were then invited to jump off to enjoy some beverages from the floating bar served by Mr. Miyagi.
The water got pretty choppy after that and some of the locals were looking pretty pale indeed. We stopped off at an island and lazed around on a sun lounger for an hour or so enjoying some very nice but strong Vietnamese iced coffee.
Back on the boat we headed off to our last stop of the tour which was an Aquarium. The two Aussies, three Brits (Ben, Jo & Henry) and us decided to skip this and chilled on the boat having a decent chat.
An hour or so later we were back at the pier and were dropped off back at our Hotel. Freshened up and headed for dinner at the Sailing club (a place recommended as having great food and a nice bar). I had an absolutely gorgeous special mixed vegetable curry and a very decent bruschetta. Hem had a good Chicken curry but preferred mine.
After paying up, we moved over to the bar area where some fantastic rnb mixes were being churned out by the DJ. By far the best music we had heard on our trip. We met the Irish girls again for a while and then headed to the dance floor after they left.
The bar closed around midnight so we headed to Why Not again where Hem got chatting to a French/Canadian girl he had met on the boat. I called it a night and Hem got back to the hotel about an hour later.

The last day in Nha Trang after checkout was spent chilling at the Louisiane Brewhouse with Hemal reading his book and me trying to catch up on my blog notes!
Evening we had our overnight coach trip to Hoi An.
