So im on the bus. Going through the highlands. Reading a book I just bought. It was better than the trasy newspapers i have been buying here like the sun and the star. They put a naked picture of a chic on the second page. I had to stop buying dodgy english newspapers and actually read. There is only so much time a page 2 newspaper girl can fill up on a bus.
 
In the higlands on the bus I looked out the window. I thought it was hailing. But it wasnt it was snowing. The first time in my life i have ever seen snow fall. All the mountains were covered in snow. It was quite amazing. It sucked though, I was on the wrong side of the bus and all the good views were on the other side.
 
Arrived in Inverness after 4 hours. It was absolutley pouring, like in Glasgow. Didnt do anything the first day because it was raining that hard. Just watched Family guy dvds and spent 3 hours searching for the supermarket which was actually next door. Got a pizza and charcoaled it. The hostel was small and two guys (Canadian and American) who worked there just watched tv a lot too. Was a good place though.
 
My only day in Inverness, it was yet again raining. I got the bus to Loch Ness. A 45 min bus ride to Loch Ness costs more than a 5 hour bus ride to Glasgow. I ended up getting dropped off near a castle on the Ness. Took some pics in the rain. The next bus wasnt for 2 hours and the only thing to do was go and pay 8 pounds to get in and see the little museum and the castle. I watched a film thingy, walked around the castle in strong winds and rain. Took pics, looked for a loch ness monster for a little bit, then left. The bus wasnt leaving for another 30 min and an old Australian couple gove me a lift into town. They were from Sydney too. I was bored so i went with them to a museum. I got in for child price because the ticket lady thought i was their son. It was an interesting movie on the myth of loch ness and had some cool stuff. After going im a bit sus that there ever was a monster.
 
I went outside, said goodbye. Bought a See you Jimmy Hat. See the pics. Got some pictures with nessie. I tryed to kiss her but it just didnt work out and it was running to hard. Walked in the rain some more (bus every 2 1/2 hours) and then got a bus back to Inverness. Waited in the dorm while it poured outside watching more family guy and random video clips. Then got my bus back to Glasgow in the arvo.
 
Only there a short time but it was worth it.
