In Paros i rode a scooter for 3 days and didnt talk to anyone. That is it.

But in slightly more detail.

Got the boat from athens with seconds to spare. The door was going up and i jumped on. Got to paros, knew where i was going to stay. Camping, as there was no youth hostel. The camping guy had a sign. I got in his minibus. I was the only one going there so he switched to his bike. Once i was on the bike something happened. I knew i must hire a bike. Got to my tent. Chucked my gear in and went straight to the hire places. Found one that had older bikes, (payed about 15 bucks a day), hoped on, took off. Road around non stop for 3 days, occasionally swimming, and every day trying to chase the sunset.

My tent was just a tent, after sleeping on the ground i asked for a mat. It was freezing at night, so i wore layers and layers of clothes. There was no one in the camping site but a few european couples and a dog who i befriended.

The only other thing i did in Paros was go to an open air cinema, the only thing on was Weatherman.

It was a non stop effort trying to get as high as i could and the best vantage point for the sunset. I thought i found a secret road to the top of this mountain. I was the only one there, but then as the sun set, dozens of people turned up.

I have only 2 complaints. The first was that some prick stole my battery charger which was charging the batteries. I put it in late at night and in the morning it was gone. Such a pain in the ass. Now i have to buy batteries. And i will be in the uk soon. So, do i buy a european charger and have to buy adaptors for uk??? Bastards.... Sons of... Im so angry about it.

. Topless women. Every beach it seems in greece has topless women. Some are old ladies that make you cringe, but some are voluptious 20 something girls that when im driving past at 75 k's i nearly drive into a parked car. It should be banned near roads! And sometimes, you see a beautiful beach and want to take a picture, but you feel like a pervert because there is some topless girls there. But you just pretend that you dont see them when you take the picture :) Also, when you relaxing reading a book or something and they come down and sit near you. GREAT.. THANKS! how am i sposed to focus on my book now. I just wanted to relax and read but someone turned the high beamers on. Dont get me wrong, its not a bad thing, its just not fair.

Paros was like a massive go cart track. No traffic at all. Perfect roads. Beautiful views. It was all hilly mountains, s bends and hairpins. And there were so many different little roads you could take. I got lost everytime. For some reason i had the song Morning train in my head again and the beach boys and happy days music was not far behind. I even got off my bike with my sunnies on and walked into a gyro place and guess what song was on. Rock around the clock. The original happy days theme song!! I loved the wind in my hair and feeling like Arthur Fonzerelli. Nice just to clear my head by riding on a bike.
