The Train to Moscow.
The longest train trip of my life. 4 days and 3 nights with only short 20 minute stops to run and get water or bread from a Babooshka. Ba Ba Babooshka Baababosshkaa.
It was stock up time before the train. Instant noodles, Instant potato, Milka, M&Ms, you name it. I accidently bought 2 tubs of liver and buck wheat instead of noodles. Many a game of UNO was played, including more Sh¤thead. I slept and slept and slept trying to go back 4 hours to Moscow time.
Going to the dinner cart was an effort, the Russians had a massive menu, but the westerners had a small one. And out of that small menu you could only end up choosing one of 2 things. Usually it was the Goulash or Pork.
Sadly lacking from this train trip was the mountains and cliff sides i expected. It was pretty much never ending trees and industrial sites all the way. But that didnt matter because sleeping was the best part. 4 days of sleeping whenever i wanted for as long as i wanted!
