The Train from Mongolia to Irkutsk
Only a short distance on the map. But there was plently of pointless stops and a border crossing that lasted 6 hours, that made this a 2 night tiring train journey. With forms to fill out all in Russian and a lady that came arround rubbing peoples hair if they filled it in correctly or slapping her arse at you if it was wrong. Even doing the cut throat sign to one guy. We laughed, but when we saw the border guards come on the train and check pillows, i started to worry. The cabin next to us had all fabrics stashed in theirs, I think by the attendants on the train. Who put random boxes food and stuff in our cabin to take accross the border. In the end made it across and all was good.
