23.01 - I had planned to do a lot of things today although I got off to a slow start. I first made sure I was booked in here for another night, then I went to check on my e-mails. Not much to report there and that was pretty much it for the morning. I wandered around the souvenir shops then I decided to go to Rotorua museum. The building was magnificent and as it used to be a bath house, there was a fair bit of history, by New Zealand's standards anyway! This topic was what the museum mainly concentrated on, showing some good recreations and preserved items from the times when is still ran as a bath house. The rest of the museum was about the volcano that erupted here in the 1800's and the Maoris in the area. After lunch, I watched Unbreakable which was very good then I went to do my Zorbing. This consists of getting into a giant rubber ball which is then rolled down either a straight or zigzagged track. It was good fun although it definitely wasn't worth $40. From here, I went to the Polynesian spa which was fun although it was full of Chinese people so I didn't stay very long. Instead I went back to the hostel where I did my laundry and packed my rucksack. Next, I went to the cinema to watch 50 first dates with Adam Sandler in it. What a film it was, it was so funny. I also made me realise how much I want someone to love, either a friend or girlfriend but I am sick of being alone! I will be glad to go tomorrow and leave the weirdos in my room behind.
