23.45 - Well today has been better than yesterday anyway. In the morning, I was up at the crack of dawn (well, not quite!) to go kayaking. It was overcast but warm and the sea was very calm. After waiting for ¾ of an hour because I was early, we set off south down the coast which would not have been possible if the weather had been bad. We saw some spectacular coastal scenery, cliffs, stacks, blowholes etc and we got to paddle in some caves. When we finally got back, my arms were killing me. After a quick lunch, I decided to walk to Cathedral Cove which was worth the long walk. The views of the marine reserve and around were nice and the white sanded beach of Cathedral Cove was beautiful. I hung around there for a while before setting off back to the hostel. I was felling a bit lonely then so I decided to break the ice and talk to the American's. It turned out that they were having a bonfire down on the beach which I decided to go to later on. After collecting a few beers from the shop, the Stray bus arrived but everyone on there was very tired and not in the mood to talk so we went down to the beach alone. The night was clear and the stars were beautifully bright. We proceeded to get pissed which I did quite well of course! It's not like I haven't had any practice! We had a good laugh although I didn't really understand the American's sense of humour.
