21.54 - The day has finally come for me to leave Waitomo and move on again. First though, I had several hours to kill before I got picked up by the bus at 15.00. It was the usual story of reading and hanging around. With it being Easter Sunday, I bought myself a Cadbury's Cream Egg. I have become quite partial to them. They had nothing bigger otherwise I would have gotten one. At least I got some e-mails back from Cheryl and Claire which was nice. The bus, when I got on it, was full and I had an uncomfortable ride sitting next to a giant German man giving me very little space. I had 4 hours of this without talking until we reached Hahei. It was quite late when we arrived so I grabbed something to eat before I went to bed at 20.00. I read for a while before finally talking to the German guy who I am now sharing my room with. Nearly everyone is leaving with the Stray bus tomorrow but there are a few staying. I am not going to do the sea kayaking in the morning but I might walk to Cathedral Cove instead. I got a phone call from Mum to wish me Happy Easter but that was the only way I celebrated the day. It is good to have moved on again and leave the mindlessly boring village of Waitomo. I then sewed the patches that I am collecting onto my rucksack to pass a bit of time.
