18.23 - With today being my last full day in Auckland, I have had a lot to do and I have tried to make the most of it. That is why I am currently sat in a bar at the top of the Sky Tower. I have just watched a magnificent sunset and now I am watching as one by one, the lights of the city are switched on. The city looks beautiful at night. Today I have been mainly reading in Borders again, desperately trying to finish my book before tomorrow. I am going there after here and I won't be leaving until I have finished it! I have also been walking around taking some last minute pictures and grabbing some souvenirs. I have only bought the same corkscrew I used at Mecca because that one got confiscated at the Meat Loaf concert. I also got my haircut today and I have to say that I'm pleased with the result mind you, I wouldn't expect anything less for $19. I might go down to the Globe bar to see if it improves my pulling powers although I doubt it. Besides, I have to be up at 06.30 tomorrow so I had better not actually. I went back to Qantas again to see about changing my flights but Manchester have not yet got back to them so I couldn't do anything. I had an e-mail from Ryan who says he might be buying a car. Mum is also thinking about selling hers so I will be able to have that when I go back home. I can't believe I have been gone for 60 days now.
