17.14 - After a brilliant nights sleep, I had to sort out a lot of my stuff which I left at Sharon and Alan's whilst I went up to the Bay Of Islands. In the end I decided to mail it home in case Mum is unavailable to pick it up when she comes out here. So after packing all my stuff, Sharon took me to the Post Office in Auckland. I spent quite a long time there taping up my stuff and filling out forms etc. In the end I paid $110 to send home about 6kgs of stuff! I wish I had waited until I knew what Mum was doing before I sent it off. After the Post Office, I checked back into ACB. I got a much better room this time with no bright lights and loud music. I had to go back down to Mecca to get a reference from that BITCH Bev! It was good to see everyone again though and I got some free food so it was worth going down. My reference was ok although it was a bit short. I was only there for a couple of weeks so fair enough I suppose. When I went back to ACB I met some cool people who I played shithead with. It's a good card game which I will have to remember for when I go back home. In the evening I went down to the Globe bar for a few drinks and to watch the Miss Backpacker competition. I played some pool but I am out of practice and shockingly bad. The competition was ok but no one got their kit off unfortunately! I also met Andy from Paihia which was a surprise. It was good to see him again and we are going to meet up tomorrow. I also saw the lads from Paihia again enjoying the entertainment like me.
