19.38 - For my last full day in Paihia, it has been pretty shit really. Same as every other day, get up, have a shower, eat breakfast, then go into town to check my e-mails. Again, I had nothing in my inbox so it didn't take very long for me to check them. If the writing here is illegible it's because I am writing in the dark at the Pipi Patch bar! I have got 2 pints with my collection of 2 for 1 vouchers and I think it would be rude not to use them up! Other than going to the beach today, I have done the ceremonial TV watching. I spent a fair while on the beach reading my book, which I have now nearly finished, and listening to my music. I went for a swim but the water was cold so I didn't stay in long. Instead I concentrated my efforts on topping up my tan for the ladies. Not that it does any good because I still haven't pulled but hey, nothing new there! The barmaid was there but she was with her friends and I was too shy to go over and talk to her. I have no chance anyway, so what's the point? I wish I had stayed at the Saltwater BBH because the facilities are way better there but it's too late now. It's my last night here after over a week here. I'm looking forward to going. I have spent a fair bit of time packing my rucksack even though I don't leave until 17.00. I arranged to stay at Sharon and Alan's house on Monday so I've got that to look forward to.
