17.31 - Yet another crap day watching the TV, reading, and walking around doing nothing. It was my turn last night to tell someone to shut the fuck up as they same load of guys from yesterday were making a racket again. In general I had a bad nights sleep but I was hoping for a lie in to kill a bit of time but it wasn't happening. Instead I was forced to get up and ignore the evil stares of my fellow room-mates. I checked my e-mails again and found one from Peter Hague! I couldn't believe it. He had heard that I come travelling and decided to get in touch so naturally I replied. I also met the couple from Wales I had been hanging around with previously. It turns out that they had come to Cape Reinga yesterday which is why I didn't see them around. So we had a bit of a chat but they left later on in the day. They have been the highlights of the day, other than this I have been watching movies and wandering around looking for the barmaid again! I really need to hang out with as I am getting desperately bored. I will go parasailing tomorrow if I can't find anyone. At least I have done a bit better for money today. The vening was not much better I'm afraid to say. I have got a new book though, something to do with Egypt, so I have been reading that. Another early night tonight. I don't' have the money to go out drinking although I did have a free drink voucher which I made use of. Only a few more nights left here now. I can't wait to get back to Sharon and Alan's for a bath!
