18.09 - What a boring day. I have had nothing to do as I have done everything there is to do! Instead I have had to resort to doing mindlessly boring things like writing postcards etc. The main thing I have been doing is reading or wandering aimlessly between the hostel and town. All my mates have now left and unfortunately I did not get the chance to say goodbye because I was on the day trip yesterday. I checked my e-mails and bank accounts this morning discovering to my horror that I had hardly any e-mails and that I have spent about $300 in less than a week! From now on I will have to cut back considerably. The only problem is that I love food and I love eating! I will have to conquer my addiction if I don't want to go bankrupt though! Yet again the weather has been good but a bit colder, I think change is on the way. Most of my day has been spent looking for the fit barmaid but I have had no luck yet because she hasn't been working. Hopefully I might make some more friends tonight anyway. The main problem at the moment though is that I have almost run out of reading material. I have just about finished the Bill Bryson book and then I will have nothing else. I am thinking about going swimming with dolphins again just so I can actually swim with them! I can't believe I have been away for 50 days now. Sometimes it seems like a really long time but others...not so long. I don't know whether or no to go to Whangarei or not. It could be really boring like Kerikeri or quite interesting. My new room mates are pretty boring too, all older and really loud especially when I am trying to get to sleep!
