23.38 - I woke up early (about 07.00) tired and hungry. I finished packing my bags, had a shower then grabbed some Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast. I checked out of ACB and waited for AWOL to pick me up. On  the minibus I met some people from South Africa (J'berg) and I got talking to them. They seemed pretty cool and we got on well, I could tell that this was going to be a good day. The journey to Piha took 40 minutes but when we got there it was really nice. It's a surfers beach and village so it was really chilled out. After getting kitted out and having a few lessons on how to abseil, we got underway. We first had to walk to the top of the valley so we could go down the waterfalls. The guides were really good and explained a lot of the history of the area etc. We then started out. In the end we did 4 or 5 abseils including one of 50m and one through a waterfall then we went through a few caves and jumped into some pools. One of the jumps was about 5m and although I hadn't really been scared up until then, that was the hardest thing to do. After finishing, we went back to Piha where we climbed Lion Rock in the middle of the bay which was good. I paid $20 extra to get some photos taken of me during the trip so I gave them an address so they could send them home. We then headed back to Auckland where I got ready to leave for Sharon & Alan's house in Titirangi. I had to wait over an hour for a bus to New Lynn then pay for a taxi  to their house. They are really nice people, they bought me a curry and some beer before I had a good nights sleep in a double bed!
