Today I had the longest lie in so far on my travels getting up at 11.00! Still it's quite early compared to the times used to get up back home. I had a few odd jobs to do today, namely turning up my work pants but first I had to go sopping for some black thread. It was a nightmare, nowhere seemed to have any. I couldn't believe how hard it was to find such a simple thing. I was also unlucky though, two of the shops I went to had just stopped selling thread. The one shop I knew would definitely sell some was closed although on closer inspection I found that the person had just gone out for lunch and she came back shortly. Still, it took me about an hour just to get some black thread! When I got back to ABC I used the thread to turn up my pants which took a wile, was tedious and annoying. I got it done though so that's out of the way now. I did my laundry and sent the last of my e-mails out. Quite a lot done in total and out of my way so I can get some more sightseeing done. Unfortunately though, I have got to work again tonight but at least it keeps me busy. I am going to try and get some tickets for the Meat Loaf concert in Auckland. It's his last World Tour so it would be good to go. Work is also getting better, I made $5 tips so I am obviously impressing a bit. I am making some good friends as well. I have found out that I will be working practically every night this week which isn't exactly what I want or expected. Oh well, it's good for the money.
