19.20 - After checking out of the YHA at 10.00 this morning, I had some time to kill before I checked into ACB at 16.00. I mostly read but I went to draw some money out as well as spending about half an hour re-packing my day sack. When the time eventually came to go, I walked the half a mile or so with my rucksack and day sack probably weighing about 30kg between them It was quite a hard walk and to make it worse I probably walked about another half mile past the place before I realised that I had gone too far and had to turn back! I was knackered by the time I got there. The place is ok, the facilities are better than at the YHA but the rooms aren't as nice. At least I don't have to pay for a locker here. After checking out the place, I went to change my money and do some odd jobs. I was pleased to find that I got over $100 from all the English and Fijian money I had left over. I treated myself to another McDonalds! I needed some thread to turn up my trousers but I couldn't find any so I will have to do that tomorrow as I will with the tax form I need to fill out. I sent an e-mail to Mum and Dad today basically telling them what I have done, what I am going to do and how things are going in general. They are worrying and fussing about me like mad, it's getting a bit annoying with all the phone calls. One person I enjoy keeping in touch with is Cheryl who I was pleased to find an e-mail from. Don't know what I will do tonight, I might go to the Globe bar downstairs.
