14.29 - Just got on the plance holding a package resembling a tampon! It's actually meant to be a face cloth but i don't really want to use it with that thought on my mind! I was up early again today with a hangover yet again. I got a rolling taxi into Korotogo where i waited for another but none were picking me up. A mand told me that these taxis are illegal and there was a police checkpoint up ahead so i couldn't get one. I was forced to get a proper taxi back to Horizon costing me $40! I ahd a good chat with the driver on the hour long journey back though. Once back, i finished my pack and realised i had forgotten my jeans in Korotogo...FUCK!! I left my address with the lady at reception so they might send them back home. I then said goodbye to all the staff at Horizon who have been excellent and got a taxi to the airport. Now i am on the plane, i can't wait to get to NZ.

18.47 - Have checked into my hotel for the night. It's a nice luxury even if it's just for one night. I wish it had a bath though. I have just had my tea of roast beef. It's the best meal i've had since i set off over two weeks ago now. I have also spoken to Mum and Dad just to confirm i'm ok. I am just settling down to watch an episode of the Simpsons, another luxury! My first impression of New Zealand and Auckland is that it looks great even though i am still pretty far away from the centre. I will have to get a taxi there in the morning. Whilst i was in customs, i had to get my boots sprayed with disinfectant in quarantine!
