Well, I am finally on my way! Got up at 05.00 and I am absolutely shattered. After a lot of last minute packing and rushing around, we finally got underway. The journey to Manchester was long due to heavy traffic and I couldn't sleep. It was really hard to say goodbye to everyone, one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. At the moment it seems like a bad idea and a mistake to have come travelling, especially on my own. Ah well, too late to change my mind now! I'm sure I will get over it. When I make some friends I will be fine. Just settling down for a long flight to Los Angeles. Should get some sleep hopefully. Views of ice caps over Greenland spectacular, the snowfields just stretch on for miles. I am feeling better no but still nervous about customs and security in the US. I still haven't slept, will try again shortly.
17.45 - I'm on my last flight today on my way to Honolulu. I'm pretty sure I will sleep now, I can hardly keep my eyes open. Customs and security at LAX was scary. I had no idea what I was doing or where I was going most of the time! I'm glad it's over now, only getting to my hotel to worry about now. I can't wait to get back into a nice and soft warm bed. I might start making a video diary as well!
