Curacao

I stayed for five nights on Curacao, sleeping on the floor of a friend of mine. We had gotten our Scuba Instructor certifications on Utila at about the same time, and he had been working there for the last three years.

I island has a lot of people on it, around 150,000, so the southern end is pretty much one big city. The northwest point is much more wild and has some small hills. Apparently the island is usually very dry and brown, and there are a lot of cacti everywhere, but it was very green while I was there because of the rainy season. there were only a few beaches and they were kinda torn up from a previous hurricane but still, as you can see from the pictures, very nice.

I did one dive, and some free diving while I was there. The reef is very nice around the island. The dive we did was on the wreck that was pretty cool aswell.
