I crossed the boarder from argentina into bolivia at La Quiaca. I stayed in the town on the Bolivian side of the boarder, Villazon. At the boarder there is a sign that says it is 5121 km to Ushuaia. It made me relise how much ground I covered. That is about 3200 miles, longer that crossing the United states, and that is if I went striaght.
The altitude there is about 11000 feet. The lack of oxygen is really taking it out of me. I've spent the last couple of years at sea level, or even lower when I was diving, so I've got some adapting to do. More thumbnails ...
