I came to Rosario for the second weekend of Semana Santa. It was packed out and there was not a hostel bed in town. So I camped on the island across the river. It was a really cool spot, except after the sun went down the mosquitos came out in force. I had to break out the 100% DEET spray that I got for the Amazon basin. They were so hungry that they tried to bite the bun of my hamburger, while it was sitting on the table.

In Rosario the also have the national flag monument, which is a huge stone tower with statues and an eternal flame in a secondary structure. It's pretty cool monument-wise.
