Two days of being sick as a dog, but now I'm back in the game. Belinda flew out on thursday, so it is back to the hostels, for me.

Punta del Este is a funky area. It is the super trendy beach spot for rich Argentinians. There are a lot of high rise condos here, and tons of little beach houses. It is also funny becuase there is no architechtural continuity here. There are thached cotages, log cabins, modern styled, brick, wood, cape code style, victorian. you name it some body has built one like it down here.

It is the end of the season and we hit some poor weather so it was really quiet. Judging from the amount of condos and vacation houses here, during the high season it must be an absolute zoo here.
