Spent a couple of days in Puerto Madryn, and did some awesome scuba diving.
The first dive we did was a shallow one with Sea Lions. They call them "Lobos Marinos" here, which translates to Sea Wolfs. They are bigger down here, the same type that were in Valpariso Chile. It was really cool. They come right up to you and if you hold your hand out they will chew gently on it. You can also pet them and push them around. We dove at one of the bigger colonies, but there are a ton of sea lions all over Penisula Valdez. Another plus to the dive was that it was only me and the divemaster because it was a monday.
The second dive was on a wreck. It was a shorter dive but that was okay because I was getting cold. Working in the carribean has dropped my cold tollerance significantly, so two dives in 60 degree water had me good and cold even with two layers of wetsuit and a hood.
