The Navimag made it into Puerto Nateles. It took four days of traveling on the boat to get down here. There was not much to do on the boat except look at the scenery, but the scenery was really awesome. Most of the way we traveled between the islands and the coast so there was a lot to see. The boat also went up to the Pio XI glacier, which is the biggest in South America. We also got to see some penguins swimming, and when we did a short open ocean crossing we got to see some whales, I think they were humpbacks.

It rained a lot at the begininig but it got more clear and the clouds got higher as we got farther south. I also got colder as we headed south. The day we got to puerto natales it was 47 degrees farenheit. I thought that I was over loaded on cold weather gear, but it turns out I needed all of it.
