Just a brief entry to say hi. On worlds slowest internet ever and hotmail doesn't want to send emails. Had long weekend of driving across Malawi and Tanzania. Like Tanz a lot and just waiting for the ferry for a week in Zanzibar. Everyone is so excited about going to Zanzibar! Not much news, is very very hot here was sweating last night which was odd because the night before at this beautiful but remote camp somewhere in Tanzania, we'd been freezing in the wooly hats and ski socks at night! so odd.
Last night had hilarious night in the camp site bar- the sell this drink- a vodka slush puppie and have timetrials to drink a bucket of it. Was hilarious watching people try, encouraged by some scary and competitive Ozys and some very wasted and old Capetonians who were randomly there too. This was also followed by the weirdest drinking game ever-trying to pick a increasingly small box with a beer in it off the floor usuing only your mouth, also hilarious to watch/play/nose dive into the sand! Stayed up to midnight too...crazy behaviour considering we got up at 4.45am, which was a lie in!
Off to join ferry Q, everyone on the truck is hilariously hungover and have been told crossing is gonna be rough. Sweepstake on first to be sick. Lovely!

Hey Beckles,
Just caught on to this whole travelpod malarckey and am delighted to be able to receive news of all your travels! Sounds absolutely amazing! Am so jealous! Can't believe you got to stay in a village and were entertained by the chief! Am so jealous of all the animals you are seeing. I know exactly what you mean about deviant monkeys... They are completely amoral and rut everything that moves!
So glad you had a good birthday.... its all about vomitting on your birthday!
So how long until you see stu?
Just to let you know that i am going away on 4th october now so hopefully i will see you when you're back!
