Whilst on a evening river cruise on the Zambezi we were lucky enought to see large herds of elephants and hippos crossing entering the river to cross to an island opposite. Was stunning and also required a LOT of photos of swimming elephants! The rangers are absolutely crazy though, we pulled up in this tiny boat about 50cm from a 3m crocodile and rammed the boat into the bank next to him. The croc barely batted an eyelid (thankfully) obviously is used to entertaining the tourists! The cruise was simply amazing, everyone on the tour loved it, took a million photos particularly of the African sunsets and animals just EVERYWHERE. When i was there i kept thinking how everyone has to come to africa and see the animals 'in the wild' like that and the Africa countryside! All i could saw for 3hours was 'wow' and ohh and ahh as if there was fireworks! Fantastic
