BIG Yoga session this morning but soooo great!!  Day 3 and still hanging in there still eager for 3 more before leaving.

Decided to leave "paradise" for the day - 45 min. taxi ride (YAY!! this one had shocks and better AC!!) to Montezuma for lunch, sightseeing and to see if there is any shopping in this part of the world.  Earrings for Britt is all I keep seeming to find!! well..and a wee thing for each of the boys as well as a typico musical instrument for Z and J - same as African one's I used to see/play with when I lived in Kenya. And a great spot for lunch - tried a Pino Colada for a change - drinks great, food iffy which seems to be the norm when "off property".

Food at Pranamar's in "Buddha's Eyes" restaurant has been absolutely superb - we won't venture elsewhere - for 2 reasons.  The road is insane and I don't think there's anything else that can top their organic and local food.  Eg last eve -amazing stuffed Portobello mushrooms on pumpkin, the Nicoya salad is to die for - we shared tonite!  fairly large filling portions.  Getting to know the folk - Johann behind the bar, Susan the owner is American - third hotel she has built.  Her daughter Nancy is the yoga teacher.  Nancy lost a child - has 2 others...only learned this when sharing Norm's story.  Susan also owns and rents out a home in Nicaragua.  Potential for next year.  She brought much of the materials  - hardwood throughout all villa's, yoga-like goddesses and jewelry (irresistible!) in gift shop from Bali.   She has a place in Bali as well...this is just the beginning of my connection with this wonderful woman!

So we will eat remaining meals here before leaving.

Back for a refreshing swim and chat with Susan in the pool. Guess I must be looking tanned as Susan thought I had some "Thai" in me!!   It's actually cooler now!!  a pleasant relief!

Feeling tremendously content with life today - must be from beating Rich twice at Scrabble - heh - not really, just settling in to relaxville - the yoga being such a tremendous part of getting there.
