Yoga was excellent...some advanced folk from around in attendance which is awesome as it is great motivation and when uncertain, there's always someone nearby who knows what to do! Nancy, the instructor, is the owner's daughter - Susan is an American who has lived here for 28 years - it will be fun to get to know her - quite the character - she was glad there were a few of us "oldies" there as usually she is surrounded by these flexible gorgeous young people! It was a thorough class - may even be a bit stiff tomorrow! and what a different sensation doing yoga in such heat. It is warm!! warmer than when I did my yoga retreat in India. Sweat pouring off both Rich and I and everyone actually! Will be awesome to get us ready for skiing! Wonder if I'll ever be able to do a headstand like one of these wonderful young women - HA!!
So here's how stopped I am!
So wonderful to fully entrench oneself in all this has to offer. It will be fascinating to see and feel what this does to one mentally as well as physically. "Re-entry" will be another curiousity!
One other "older couple" here -from Belgium - will be interesting to get to know them, if the scenario presents itself. They did yoga too and had never done yoga before! They seem like adventurers like us. I'm so curious how they found out about this place too. Only 6 Villas - only 2 (one of them being our Villa #1) directly facing the sea - going to have to tape the music of the waves hitting the shore in order to be able to sleep once returning home....nope...not going there just yet!!
