Coffee on our wee garden patio to start the day...no schedule, no plans....whatever will be will be - how different.
Breakfast at 10:30 a.m.! in the restaurant patio - sunny and heavenly! Humidity is so different than India where you melted into a puddle with any exertion. Here it just feels like a nice warm day.
Off to see an artisan market but found it to be quite "the usual"except for Tshirts for Z and J - frogs of course!
Curious that these countries always seem to have great shoe stores!! Pleased that our hotel offered to keep any luggage (shoes - heh) that we didn't want to carry with us for the rest of the journey
Lunch in Central San Jose. Nothing remarkable about this city, but we are glad we booked 2 nights here to begin the process of stopping! The heat seems to do that nicely. Pleasant temperature - warm but not so hot I can't move.
Feet up time now then off to a Cuban restaurant just for a different experience for dinner.
Dark at 5 pm and the tropical rains pound down like crazy!! Cozy and comfy chilling inside!
Wow what a pace!!
So the day ended rather "eventfully"! We decided to walk to Machu Picchu restaurant – one of two recommended by the concierge “only a few blocks away” so, in the warm rain shower, off we went. Hmm, concerning – each KFC or Subway we passed had an armed guard – Bevin was not feeling very comfortable
